Project Manager
(Prince 2, Agile, eCommerce)
Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-known large retailer in the capacity of Project Manager. In order to be considered, candidates should have experience of eCommerce and other IT solutions, ideally in a retail/supply chain environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading business and development teams to deliver Multi-Channel system solutions, new operating models and wide ranging business process change. You must also be able to work with offshore teams.
Skills and Experience:
- Good solid successful project management experience in a software development environment .
- Knowledge of full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent client facing, stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Retail/supply chain/eCommerce experience.
- Strong business analysis skills.
- Ability to produce business cases, analyse and track costs.
- Excellent leadership skills, comfortable at managing large teams in a matrix environment.
- Ability to work with offshore teams.
- Strong vendor management skills.
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies like MS Project/Prince 2.
The role will require travel within UK.
