Our eCommerce package, is based on IBM WebSphere Commerce software, which conforms to W3C guidelines and offers a range of facilities, including:
- Shopping promotions (covering discount codes, gift certificates, gift wrapping, sale items, etc.)
- Postage and packing (tracking, and customised options such as postage by weight or per item)
- Product pages (features include customer reviews, enquiry forms, wish lists, stock control)
- Customer login (enabling customers to view invoice status, update personal information, etc.)
- VAT/tax settings (for creating VAT/tax tables, display products with or without VAT/tax, etc.)
- Administration (covering product and category management, customer help, sales reports, etc.)
IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
Our software application server is the IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS). WAS is built using open standards such as Java EE, XML, and Web Services. It works with a number of Web servers including Apache HTTP Server, Netscape Enterprise Server, Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), IBM HTTP Server for i5/OS, IBM HTTP Server for z/OS, and IBM HTTP Server for AIX/Linux/Microsoft Windows/Solaris.
