  1. Drop the language that de-humanises customers, banning all talk of target markets, users, consumers and so on
  2. Understand the purchase decision journey as it is now, in the digital age, not the sales funnel it used to be
  3. Attain and act upon a deep appreciation of a customer's need states throughout the journey, particularly during evaluation and post-purchase
  4. Move at the speed of your customer and the word on the web, iteratively evolving what you do or say rather than stick with implementing the grand brand plan

We create simple 'human' tools that assist decision making and active evaluation. We have the in-house insight and research resource to get to the very heart of the customer need. For Glow-worm we identified that people wanted to feel more in control of the decision surrounding which make and model of boiler to install. We created, designed and developed the first ever online domestic boiler calculator in the UK. The OU - Devolve Me

The OU - Devolve Me

Our 'Devolve Me' app for The Open University imaginatively celebrated courses tied in with the Darwin bicentenary. It invited people to upload photos of themselves and then watch as they devolved back to Neanderthal man or woman. It was highly social, getting picked up and retweeted by Stephen Fry. The app helped generate a year's worth of undergraduate science prospectus request in just 24 hours. Read more here The Open University
