Mobile offering added to 20:20 pillar

Ben Langdon, CEO of Digital Marketing Group plc, has today announced the launch of 20:20 Connect, a new business which will sit within the 20:20 pillar of the Group.

20:20 Connect will consolidate the existing skills and mobile focused activity within 20:20 to create a specialist business focused on the provision of a comprehensive range of mobile communication and mobile commerce services. 20:20 Connect will be headed up by Gareth Phillips MD of 20:20 Media&Analytics.

Transactional mobile work and m-commerce will utilise 20:20 Technology’s team of expertise, while location-based search, mobile media and data analysis will be enhanced through the expertise of the 20:20 Media&Analytics team.

In addition, the company’s Digital Brain product suite will now be broadened to include Digital Brain:Connect enabling advanced customer data analysis and tailored content provision.

The new business brings together an impressive existing client list and portfolio of work including:

  • Bounty – development of the ‘Bounty Babycare’ iPhone app to support busy mums and mums to be through pregnancy and beyond. The app also enables the collection of user data and targeting of specific offers and ads based on this insight
  • Pepsi – an international campaign to stimulate Pepsi’s target audience, using 18 different on pack QR codes to provide a gateway to a range of exclusive mobile and web based content
  • COI – creation of digital and mobile content for ‘Thmbnls’, the world’s first interactive mobile drama, designed to create social change in the habits of teenagers to help reduce the instances of unwanted pregnancy and sexually transmitted illnesses
  • BMW – SMS and MMS Used Car alerts. Customers looking for a specific used BMW could sign up to be alerted by text message when a used BMW meeting their specification was entered into the BMW used car database – the SMS/MMS would include the car details, picture and dealer contact details
  • KP – development of ‘Text and Win’ instant-win mechanic to support World Cup on-pack promotion
