Account Director - Ipswich Office
The role
This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients and has proven skills in digital media planning and buying. As an account director, you will be prepared to not only take responsibility for your team and its performance, but also understand how this contributes to the success of the agency as a whole. You must be commercial and proactive in your thinking, and be prepared to get our of your personal comfort zone to tackle new and difficult situations.
You will have a good knowledge of where digital channels fit in the marketing mix and be able to explain how these can perform to meet different business objectives. You will also be responsible for cross-selling our capabilities in search engine marketing and display, and other digital areas within the Digital Marketing Group including creative, branding, mobile, website design & build, etc. to clients at all levels of experience. You will have the skills necessary for successful digital campaign development and management, taking into account the broader marketing factors such as competitor activity, offline advertising and seasonality. Equally important, you will need to build strong relationships with your clients founded on confidence, trust and respect.
You will report in to the Client Services Director and will run your own team who look after one of the agency’s largest clients.
Detailed responsibilities will include:
To be responsible for the running and development of a number of online accounts including:
- Working with the CSD to maximise the cost effective spend, results and agency income from your accounts
- Taking and developing client briefs
- Preparing and presenting digital media strategies and plans
- Working with the campaign managers on search strategy
- Providing results reporting, analysis and insight
- Liaising with publishers
- Budgetary and credit control
- Answering client questions and queries quickly and effectively
- Identifying new opportunities for the teams clients
- Helping with new business pitches
The ideal candidate’s should have:
- Client account management experience gained in an agency environment with a minimum of 3 years experience
- An excellent understanding of the “paid for search” market place and how to plan, implement and optimise PPC campaigns is essential
- An excellent understanding of direct marketing techniques and approaches
- A good understanding of SEO and media planning & buying would be beneficial
- A good knowledge of how third party adserving works would be useful, but training can be given
- Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
- The experience to manage teams to hit deadlines whilst also maintaining high standards of work

Media Campaign Manager - Ipswich Office
The role
This is an ideal role for someone wanting to demonstrate their skills in search marketing and develop new skills in display advertising. You may already be working at an agency or client-side and are looking to grow your existing knowledge of managing PPC / display campaigns effectively and efficiently. Full training and support will be given.
The Media Campaign Manager focuses on generating the very best results for the search and display advertising accounts they manage by providing a real insight into campaign performance and skilled campaign optimisation. They also provide digital media planning and buying support to their team and assist with a number of key tasks such as reporting and analysis, research, and planning and forecasting. They will report into the Head of Communications Planning and work alongside Account Managers. They will also be able to assist in preparatory work for new business pitches and presentations.
Job Description:
Display Advertising - Responsible for the set up and optimisation of Display Advertising and Social Media campaigns. This will include:
- Creation of new display activity and social media activity
- Continuous optimisation of phasing, creative and formats
- Establishing the most effective landing pages and advising on campaign improvements.
- Set up of campaigns and pre-launch testing
- Actively managing budget allocation

Research - Researching websites and new opportunities for clients, using tools such as comScore and Nielsen.

- 2-3 years practical experience in managing paid for search and/or display campaigns

Business Development Manager - Ipswich Office
Reporting to: Group Planning Director
The role
We are expanding our new business team to continue the growth of 20:20 Agency. We require a Business Development Manager to generate leads and manage email programmes targeting prospective clients. The successful candidate will work as part of a wider new business team including 2 other Business Development Managers based across the Group. 20:20 Agency is split over 3 locations in the UK – Sheffield, Newbury and Ipswich. This role will be based in our Ipswich office. The candidate will have agency new business experience and be comfortable making cold calls and follow up calls based on an agreed and defined prospect database. The candidate should be confident enough to talk to senior clients and be able to talk knowledgeably about the Agency’s services – particularly: web design and build, social media, viral, mobile, search engine marketing and display advertising.
